Asimov Incident is a sci-fi rogue-lite where the player plays as JJ the android who is trapped in a scientific facility infiltrated by hostile subterranean creatures. With a variety of weapons to choose from, four different stats to upgrade and randomly generated levels, they must carve the best way to reach safety given the cards they get dealt in each playthrough. If successful, players will learn of the true relationship between JJ and its creator.

This was a five month long group task that served as my ultimate project at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment. I had my hands in many parts of the game, but I was mainly in charge of writing and implementing cutscenes, composing music and balancing systems including weapon experience, stats (of the player, enemies and weapons) and difficulty. I found working on Asimov Incident to be a rewarding experience in which I was able to employ my strengths in music, writing and numeracy. These are wings I intend to spread even more in future projects.
