My name is Tzar Leonardi and I am a Melbourne-based game designer specialising in systems and writing. I am in search of artistry and storytelling present in the most excellent works in other mediums such as cinema and literature that I find lacking in the vast majority of video games. No doubt teething problems for a burgeoning form, but I believe it is time for our evolution; and thus as I with my own games carve myself a path in the name of this endeavour, I will keep an eye on the works of fellow artists to study, learn from and document the growth of video games. This is why I am beginning my series of video game reviews.

My reviews (which I collectively call Collecting My Thought; RIP Joan Rivers, RIP Kim Kardashian) will be a chance to showcase not only the way I feel about the video games I play, but also the layers that make up the designer behind these reviews who is also in his early stages of creative evolution. In these reviews I aim to be first and foremost honest, to be objective when appropriate, to be subjective when appropriate, to stay concise when not verbose, and to try do it all with a touch of levity.

Lastly, though it seems scripture to end a review with some form of rating, I find that can sometimes be too commodifying and I just have no intention of ranking or categorising anything. I will instead end with four points of summation that range from standard to facetious to keep things different. So with all that said and done, let's get collecting!
